Overgrown Horse Chestnut Tree Reduced in Chorley

At J.H.E Tree Services, we were recently contacted by a homeowner in Chorley who was dealing with a large horse chestnut tree overhanging their garden. The tree was growing from a neighbouring property that had been vacant for over 10 years, and had become completely overgrown.

The Challenge

With no contact details for the absent owner, the customer approached the local council. They were informed they could have the tree trimmed back to their boundary line, provided it was carried out by a professional and fully insured tree surgeon.

Our Solution

We conducted a safe and controlled crown reduction, cutting back all branches that extended beyond the fence line. Our team used ropes and rigging to protect the surrounding area during the reduction. As always, safety was our top priority.
